What’s In Store For NRF 2018: Retail’s Big Show

New technologies, trends, and the busiest holiday season of all time made 2017 a record-breaking year for digital retail. Now that the dust has settled, retailers are looking to make their next move and stay ahead of ever-changing customer demands. We can’t think of a better place to jump-start digital transformation than NRF 2018: Retail’s Big Show.

From Sunday, January 14th to Tuesday the 16th, more than 35,000 retail leaders from across the globe will flock to New York City to brush up on the latest trends and share the biggest ideas that are transforming retail for the digital age. Here at LYONSCG, we couldn’t be more excited to be exhibiting at NRF again this year – after all, digital transformation is what we do. If you’ll be there, make sure to stop by Booth 1139 on Level 1 to say hello, meet the team, and learn more about how we help leading retailers and brands realize their digital commerce goals.

What we love most about NRF is that the show truly taps into the pulse of the industry. From social media strategies to supply-chain solutions, NRF has something to interest, engage, and help everyone in retail. Some of this year’s highlights include Walmart CEO Doug McMillon and Arianna Huffington, Founder of The Huffington Post and CEO at Thrive Global.

At 2:30 p.m. EST on Monday the 15th, LYONSCG Creative Director Jeff Lesko will present an eye-opening case study on how LYONSCG re-imagined Build-A-Bear Workshop’s digital experience. Jeff will walk attendees through the project, and address how LYONSCG was able to bring the brand’s iconic in-store experience to life online with a new unified commerce experience featuring “The Bear Builder” and other customizations. We hope you swing by the Salesforce Shopper Success Park Theater in Booth #4103 to meet Jeff and learn more about this magical story.

On Tuesday the 16th, another highly anticipated session features LYONSCG client Bill Quinn, VP of Digital Commerce at Hibbett Sports, and the brand’s incredible digital transformation story. Joining him on stage is Steven Birdsall, Chief Revenue Officer at Radial. LYONSCG worked with Radial and a host of other partners to launch Hibbett’s first-ever eCommerce site, enabling omnichannel strategies that have transformed the sporting goods retailer.
