LYONSCG Heads to NYC for NRF

After enjoying carols, cookies, and (maybe a little too much) champagne, we’re more than ready to get back into the swing of things post-holiday season here at LYONSCG. And with the arrival of the New Year comes the industry’s biggest event: NRF Retail’s BIG Show.

In just over a week, a group of us will be heading to New York City to attend the BIG Show (along with about 33,000 of our closest friends). There, we’ll learn more about the state of the industry and connect with retailers to better understand their business needs and how we can help them realize their commerce strategies, plans and vision. If you’ll be there, we hope you visit us in Booth 4505!

NRF is a three-day event that offers unparalleled insight into all things retail and truly taps into the pulse of the industry. Some of this year’s highlights include keynote sessions by Captain Scott Kelly, the history-making US astronaut, and Sir Richard Branson, the founder of Virgin Group. We’re also very excited to see LYONSCG client John Hazen, Senior Vice President of Direct to Consumer and Omni-Channel at True Religion Brand Jeans, participate in a session called, “#LovetheStore: When you do Digital Right.”

John will be joining other panelists from Samsung, EY, and WithMe as they discuss how to develop the right strategy to blend technology with the physical store. This session will touch upon how to enhance the in-store experience in the digital age to attract more customers, increase loyalty, and further company dividends.

Many, if not all, of the other sessions at NRF will focus on the ever-changing landscape of retail, and the imperative for retailers to keep pace.
