Windsor Circle Teams with Lyons Consulting Group to Provide Email Integrations to Magento Clients

Chicago, IL (September 12, 2011) – Lyons Consulting Group (lyonscg), the premier eCommerce design, development and support firm, will be offering Magento clients an added benefit for their online business. This week, lyonscg teamed up with Windsor Circle, a maker of customer intelligence and eCommerce analytics software, to provide clients on the Magento Professional or Enterprise platforms (version 1.8-1.10), the opportunity to increase email marketing revenue through better customer segmentation and triggered emails.

Through this partnership, Lyons Consulting Group will build an extension from the open-source platform, Magento, and connect it with Windsor Circle. This extension will give Magento retailers the ability to extract their client information, order management, and eCommerce data in a structured and controlled format. Retailers will then be able to use that information to recover abandoned shopping carts, send product recommendations and segment customers based on buying behavior and purchase history. Windsor Circle integrations will connect Magento to the most popular email marketing providers including Exact Target, MailChimp, Constant Contact, iContact, Bronto and others.

Additionally, this extension allows Magento retailers the opportunity to easily schedule automated, personalized emails to specific customer segments giving the retailer full control and flexibility when promoting a certain product, brand, category or buyer segment.
