New Office Reflects Firm’s Commitment to Rockford, Continued Strong Demand for eCommerce Hosting & Support Services
CHICAGO, IL — October 12, 2015 — LYONSCG, the premier eCommerce digital agency serving online merchants, branded manufacturers and B2B organizations, announced today the opening of a new Rockford, IL facility that will support its rapidly growing Application Hosting and Support business. The new facility, located in Rockford’s east side near Rockford University, is supported with financial incentives from the City of Rockford and Winnebago County, and will enable LYONSCG to expand hiring in the area. The firm currently employs 21 people in the region.

The new offices, located at 4940 East State Street, will support LYONSCG’s rapidly growing managed service operations in hosting and support. The company’s Application Hosting and Support practices enable LYONSCG’s clients running Magento, Demandware and hybris software to partner with LYONSCG in the management of their eCommerce applications and infrastructure on a 24×7 basis. Using highly skilled technologists, LYONSCG supports hundreds of eCommerce websites today, and has added more than 40 clients to its managed services operations in just the last 12 months.

The new LYONSCG Rockford facility will enable the company to double its Rockford-based workforce, extending a commitment made to the region in 2011 with the opening of its initial office in Rockford’s EIGERlab incubator facility. Employees will now have improved opportunities for collaboration in the firm’s open-office environment and will appreciate the building’s park-like setting near the university.
