Rising Star Recognized at LYONSCG
We are happy to announce that Sarah Griffis, eCommerce Analyst at LYONSCG, has been named one of Consulting magazine’s “Rising Stars of the Profession.” This award recognizes outstanding talent in the consulting field under the age of 35. Griffis, selected in the Retail Industry, is featured in the magazine’s March 2014 issue.
At 25 years of age, Griffis manages the eMarketing and eMerchandising efforts for a diverse group of our agency’s clients that encompass luxury items, consumer product goods, and fashion accessories. Clients with whom Sarah has worked have seen double-digit growth in their Key Performance Indicator goals. Griffis attributes her success to the relationships that she has built with her clients.
“The fact that they feel comfortable leaning on me for support and value my opinion means more to me than any single success or KPI growth I have achieved.” She believes that having a strong relationship with her clients encourages open dialogue and ultimately leads to improved collaboration and more opportunity for growth.
Griffis says the favorite part of her job is “that ‘eureka’ moment when all the data, testing, and analysis fall into place, and you suddenly realize how these thousands of separate factors dynamically work together.” When all of these factors come together for each client, Griffis says she gets a feeling of limitless possibility, a feeling which makes her love the field of consulting.

For Griffis, the Rising Stars award means that she works with a really great team of people. “I truly believe that my success as a consultant is not achieved in isolation. To be acknowledged by my teammates, who hold such high expectations for not only themselves, but also for others, means so much to me.”
Griffis specifically feels indebted to one individual at LYONSCG. “The single biggest factor to my success has been my mentor, Danielle Savin [Director of eCommerce Strategy Practice at LYONSCG]. I feel extremely fortunate to work with an individual that encourages both personal and professional development. She is one of the most seasoned veterans in the eCommerce industry, and I have undoubtedly had an invaluable opportunity to learn from the best.”
