lyonscg is (Literally) Now A Part of the Lurie Children’s Hospital
As a long-time supporter of the Ann & Rober H Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, lyonscg has been honored by having a tile placed in the “Give Kids A Hand” mural which was recently installed on the first floor of Lurie Childrens Hospital.
The 10 by 10-foot mural is one of the most unique pieces of art in the hospital, because it was created by hundredds of members of the Lurie Children’s family. Each and every tile tells a special story of a patient or loved one who has been touched by Lurie Children’s. During 2012, art was collected in the hospital, at Lurie Children’s openeing celebration events, at schools, and at family projects. Art was even contributed by hospital staff – everyone from nurses to volunteers and the CEO. The result is a beautiful representation of the power of community, philanthropy, and love.
