Here Come the Hot Steppers

Alright, enough of me reverting back to my junior high hip-hop days. On to more serious, but good news! The lyonscg team has been a long-time sponsor of Step Up for Kids, an 80 story race up the Aon Building in downtown Chicago. Proceeds raised through Step Up for Kids support the fundraising efforts of K.I.D.S.S. for Kids, an Affiliated Organization of Children’s, and one of the largest donors to the hospital’s Family Services department. Family Services provides a wide range of programs that focus on the emotional, developmental and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
I am extremely proud of our team for not only having 8 lyonscg team members join the 3000 other participants who took to the climb this past Sunday, but also for raising over $500 for this great cause!! Thanks to all that donated!
On a personal note, out of the 8 employees from lyonscg and with me being the only female brave (or crazy) enough to attempt this climb, I am going to go report (ok, more like brag :)) that I was 4th out of the 8 employees! Pretty proud of that one! And yes, the entire time that I was climbing those 80 stories, I could not get “Na, na, na, na, na, na…” out of my head – I must be a lyrical gangsta!
