lyonscg’s director of retail strategy invited to speak at IRWD next year

Steve Susina • November 10, 2012

Danielle Savin, Lyons Consulting Group’s director of retail strategy, has been on the go since she started at the company earlier this year.  Not only has Savin been busy with her “normal” job of providing lyonscg clients with full site reviews, analytics data, marketing strategies, and multichannel business planning, but she has also been selected by several highly reputable organizations to share her ecommerce knowledge and experience.

In June, Savin traveled to California to participate on a panel discussion regarding “Attribution Anxiety in a MultiChannel World” to the Catalog and eCommerce Club.  Then later in the month, she was invited to participate as a judge in the 2012 Multichannel Merchant (MCM) Awards, the industry’s top honors for Business-to-Business and Business-to-Consumer cross-channel merchandise marketers.

Most recently, Savin has been asked to take part in Internet Retailer’s Web Design and Usability Conference (IRWD) next February.  Savin will be speaking to IRWD attendees about optimizing their site’s product content. During this one hour session, Savin will be giving live reviews from the floor and provide pointers on where content can be improved to both prompt sales and rank high in Google results.

Savin, who is one of the most seasoned consultants in the ecommerce industry with over 20 years experience, has worked with brands such as Playboy Enterprises, Frederick’s of Hollywood, Tory Burch, Cache Stores, Michael’s Stores, Charlotte Russe, Tractor Supply Company, Nasty Gal, Talbots, Cables & Kits, Victoria’s Secret and Henri Bendel.

With Savin’s extensive expertise in ecommerce strategy, this IRWD session is guaranteed to be advantageous for anyone looking to understand how product content relates to SEO and ultimately, how it can increase sales.  This session will be held on February 13, 2013 at 4pm.
