Lyons Consulting Group Climbs 80 Stories to Raise Money for Children’s Memorial Hospital
CHICAGO – A team from Lyons Consulting Group (lyonscg) participated in Step Up for Kids, an annual 80 story climb to the top of the Aon Center. Step Up for Kids raises money and awareness for K.I.D.S.S., an all-volunteer, non-profit fundraising auxiliary of Children’s Memorial Hospital. The members of the team, Rich Lyons, Ashkan Farhadieh, and Armen Tatevosian, were able to raise $620 for K.I.D.S.S. through donations from fellow lyonscg employees, family and friends.
In order to draw out the competitive spirit, lyonscg had the remainder of employees wager on who would reach the top first. Over half the bets placed were on Rich who ended up being the first to reach the top in a time of 17:06, with Armen Tatevosian in a time of 25:53, and Ashkan right behind with a time of 26:07. lyonscg matched the total of the donations which allowed the team to reach their goal of $500.

This year, Step Up for Kids raised over $430,000 and had over 1900 people participate in the climb up the Aon Center. Rich Lyons is a long-standing Board Member of Children’s Memorial Hospital.
