Rich Lyons
President & Founder

Rich is the founder of Lyons Consulting Group (LCG). He is responsible for leading the company's strategy and vision as well as working closely with customers. He brings over 10 years of experience in IT consulting, and over 17 years of experience in business development. He spends the majority of his days with LCG's customers. Prior to founding LCG, Rich served as Vice President of Sales for divine, Inc. in Chicago, responsible for the largest and most profitable professional services region in the firm, generating over $40M annually. He served in that same role as part of marchFIRST and Whittman-Hart. He joined Whittman-Hart in January of 1995. Rich graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BSEE from the University of Michigan and holds a M.B.A. from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Also a faculty member and Board member of the Wright Institute, an education and training organization, he teaches courses on leadership and teamwork, vision and purpose, sales, and communication. Perhaps most importantly, Rich is happily married and the proud father of two daughters, Morgan and Hannah. He is an avid golfer.

Dave Barr
Executive Vice President
Dave is the Executive Vice President of Lyons Consulting Group (LCG). Dave is responsible for working closely with customers, leading the company's sales organization and supporting the company's growth strategy and vision. He brings over 17 years of IT consulting industry experience in customer facing roles to LCG. Dave works every day to add value to Lyons Consulting Group's customers. Dave joined LCG as a founding member and employee number one to help Rich build the organization. Prior to joining LCG, Dave held sales and sales management positions at divine, Keane, Sullivan & Cogliano, and ARC. Dave graduated with a BS in Political Science and Psychology from Illinois State University. Dave spends his free time with his wife and two sons, Max and Oliver. When time allows, Dave spends time as an avid sailor and tennis player.

Kathleen Coughlin
Director of Resources
Kathleen is the Recruiting Manager of Lyons Consulting Group. She is responsible for leading the company's recruiting strategy and hiring/staffing qualified consultants to our projects. She brings over 8 years of experience in recruiting and staffing management. Prior to joining Lyons Consulting Group, Kathleen served as Regional Operations Manager for Parson Consulting in Chicago, where she was responsible for recruiting and staffing for the largest region in the company. In addition, she served as a recruiter at Diamond Consulting and various national recruiting agencies. She has a strong background recruiting in the areas of Information Technology, Finance, Sales, Marketing and Human Resources. Kathleen graduated with a Bachelors degree from Illinois State University and currently holds her certification as a Certified Internet Recruiter. Kathleen is an active volunteer for Make a Wish Foundation and in her free time enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
